Gloss finish
A glossy surface with a look close to traditional car paint.
Change your car’s colour and protect the original paint at the same time. At Wrappi – Wrapping Art Design we fit Color PPF (Color Paint Protection Film) in Oslo — a new look with the protection of a paint protection film.
A protective film with pigment or a colour effect, fitted to the car’s painted surfaces.
Unlike clear PPF, which keeps the car’s original colour, Color PPF gives the car a new look. It combines a colour change with physical protection, made to lower the risk of stone chips, light surface scratches and wear from normal use.
Color PPF is also called PPF colour film, coloured paint protection film or colour change with PPF.
Color PPF does not give complete protection against every kind of mechanical damage. Deep scratches, hard impacts and damage through the film can still happen.
Norwegian roads are hard on paint — stone chips, gravel, sand, road salt and dirt all year round. Color PPF gives the car a personal look and lays a protective layer over the original paint, which makes it a strong option for owners who want both styling and protection.
With a full Color PPF wrap the car’s painted exterior panels are covered in a coloured protective film — a new look without changing the original paint for good. Available colours, effects and finishes depend on the film series and supplier.

Both change the car’s look, but they have different properties.
Color PPF is made to combine a colour change with physical protection of the paint. It is usually thicker than traditional vinyl and can resist stone chips and some kinds of mechanical wear better. Many Color PPF films also have a self-healing top layer.
Choose Color PPF if you want a colour change and paint protection together. Choose a vinyl wrap if you mainly want to change the look and want the widest range of designs. We offer both and help you pick the right film for the car.
EVs, sports cars, SUVs and passenger cars — each with its own shapes, details and fitting challenges.
We shape the film to the car’s body and put a lot of care into edges, seams and finish.
A full Color PPF wrap normally takes 3–4 days, depending on the car and how complex it is.
The car is cleaned thoroughly before fitting.

We check the paint and whether it needs polishing.

Precision first.
Lifetime depends on film type, quality, use, care and the conditions the car lives in.
We offer selected PPF films with up to a 10-year manufacturer warranty, depending on the film series and the manufacturer’s terms.
The warranty only covers the conditions set by the manufacturer and does not automatically cover stone chips, accidents or wrong care.
Matte and satin films can need different products than gloss films.
Yes. Color PPF is made to protect the paint physically and lowers the risk of stone chip damage. How much depends on the film and the size of the impact.
Color PPF combines a colour change with paint protection; traditional vinyl is mainly for styling and design. PPF is usually thicker and better at resisting stone chips.
Yes, normally professionally from original paint in good condition. On repainted or damaged surfaces the risk of paint damage is higher.
It depends on what you want. Color PPF is a good choice if you want protection and a new look together; a vinyl wrap can be the better option if you mainly want a colour change.

A full wrap normally takes 3–4 days, depending on the car, the film and the scope.
Yes, if the coating suits that film type — it makes cleaning easier. On matte and satin films we use products that don’t change the finish.
